My role on this project was initially to work with my colleagues on creating a brand and website for the initiative. This then evolved into helping film the training videos, building the online modules, and creating print materials for presentations, conferences, and research papers. Problem
Family Caregivers play a critical role in our healthcare system. In fact, family caregivers take on a huge role— they represent about 90% of total care provided to community-dwelling patients. Healthcare providers require education and competency in working together with family caregivers.
Outcome
We created a learning platform and a community. This includes a website and online course modules, for healthcare providers on the necessity of caregiver-centered care. This means supporting family caregivers in their caregiving role, decisions about services, care management, and advocacy.
I worked with a team of designers, a film crew, learning specialists, family doctors, researchers and community members to create the Caregiver Centered Care learning platform. This included training videos, learning modules for healthcare providers, and the website that they are delivered on.
The website was built using Webflow, and the learning modules were built using Articulate Rise360.
